THE AUTHOR

Silvia Camporesi (born 1973) has a degree in philosophy. Through her photography and videos she creates stories that draw inspiration from literature, myths, religions and real life. In the last years, her research has been dedicated to Italian landscapes. Silvia works as an artist, a photography teacher and critic. Since 2003, she holds events in Italy and abroad and her works are present in important public and private collections.

THE PROJECT

Silvia Camporesi has created a photographic project inside the Dino Zoli Textile factory: a set of images in which the textile materials and the workplace are all seen as artistic subjects. Silvia focused a great deal on the poetic effect generated by the large rolls of fabrics in the warehouses, stacked high upon each other or still being woven on the looms.
